The Regular General Meeting of the Association was called for December 2, 1999. Because the Association was unable to establish a quorum at that gathering, a pre-defined Adjourned General Meeting was set for December 9, 1999.
The Adjourned General Meeting was held on December 9th at 7:30 p.m. In addition to three incumbent Board of Directors members listed on the published Ballot, the following individuals were nominated for this office from the floor.
| Joyce Amberg | Dan Rochin |
| Donald Erath | Jim Shea |
| Jerry Fleishman | Vivian Warshaw |
| Robert Hull | David Winn |
| Jim Lee |
Following tally of the ballots cast and proxies on file, Chief Teller Jim Fortney addressed the General Meeting. At that time he announced that he had been informed that the Association Secretary had received a challenge regarding the validity of three of the nominations from the floor. The challenge is based upon the premise that the nominations were made by an individual or individuals that are not homeowners and therefore not qualified to make nominations.
Fortney stated that the counting of the votes had been conducted without consideration of the challenges, and that all valid proxies and ballots were included in his tally. He also stated that he would only announce the election results not affected by the challenge(s), and that one of the five seats up for election will not be decided until the Association has an opportunity to consult with Legal Council regarding the proper procedure.
